We are thrilled to announce the successful completion of the Topping Out Ceremony for the Scape Kensington Purpose-Built Student Accommodation (PBSA) project! Infinity Constructions, along with our partners at Scape Australia, Plus Architecture, and many others, gathered on-site to celebrate this significant milestone, marking the completion of the building’s structural framework.

A Vision for Student Living

Scape Kensington is on track for completion in early 2025. It will offer over 300 new rooms for university students in a vibrant and supportive living environment at the heart of Kensington. This impressive $75 million project spans 12,000 square meters and is designed to enhance the student experience through community living.

Celebrating Progress

The ceremony took place at the building’s highest point, 20 floors above ground, representing a remarkable achievement in our construction journey.

We were honoured to hear from Myles O’Sullivan, Project Manager at Infinity Constructions, and Anouke Darling from Scape Australia, who shared their insights and reflections on the collaborative efforts that have brought us to this point. Myles expressed his gratitude to our dedicated staff and all partners involved in reaching this milestone and for their commitment to completing this exceptional project.

In keeping with tradition, an evergreen tree was hoisted to the roof to commemorate this occasion, symbolizing growth and good fortune. This ritual honours the hard work and dedication of everyone involved, from our skilled tradespeople to project managers and design teams.
