Construction is well underway on our commercial project in Foveaux Street, Surry Hills, Sydney.
The project is a redevelopment of the existing 6 storey building which will include two basements, a new rooftop, a 3 storey atrium and three different facades.
The recent works the team have been carrying out include;
– Jacketing of existing columns to strengthen them for the additional structural loads.
– Temporary structural steel support while we excavate underneath and add new structural levels above.
– Significant structural demolition and alterations including the relocation of lift shafts.
In addition to this, we have been constantly monitoring the highly sensitive neighbouring buildings for vibration caused by the works.
Despite the complexities and challenges, we are proud of the safe and collaborative way the project is currently being delivered by the team.
