Infinity Constructions Group, or Infinity Constructions as we like to call ourselves, is not a high-turnover business. We are a business that undertakes a limited number of projects per year so that we can put tried and tested teams on each project to increase our Client’s revenue, decrease our Client’s expenses and manage our Client’s project risks.
We do this by having an in-depth knowledge of the commercial construction and adaptive reuse sectors, working arm in arm with our Clients and their Designers early in the design process to formulate the most efficient and cost-effective design and solving problems that arise along the way with a proactive approach. Our pre-construction design management and collaboration is led by one of our project directors to ensure that our ethos of working with our Client as a business partner and based on trust is at the forefront of how we operate on a day-to-day basis.

Accommodation/Co-living Experience & Performance
We are highly experienced in the design and construction of student accommodation/co-living projects. Through this experience, we understand that maximising efficiency while delivering a functional and low maintenance, long-term asset is a critical success marker for student accommodation/co-living developments.
Repeat work is a by-product of our proactive approach to minimising the pain points and challenges for our Clients. We are currently delivering our 4th and 5th projects on behalf of Scape Australia. Over the past 25 years, we have delivered student accommodation/co-living projects on behalf of GSA, Amazon Property Group, Urbanest and UNSW throughout both Sydney and Melbourne.
Our student accommodation/co-living works have included the design and construction of over 3,000 self-contained student accommodation rooms, along with communal spaces, including reception lobbies, kitchens, BBQ facilities, retail spaces, mezzanines, rooftop terraces, aquatic facilities, bicycle storage facilities, gymnasiums, cinemas, meeting rooms, games rooms, and laundry facilities.
Our approach to large design and construction of student accommodation/co-living projects focuses on efficiency in the structure, base services, and building envelope to enable cost and time reductions that do not affect aesthetics or function. We favour the use of modular construction techniques such as precast concrete, prefabricated formwork systems, modular facades and prefabricated bathroom PODs to improve quality and reduce time on site.
Throughout the design finalisation period, we focus on risk elimination and cost efficiency, with a particular focus on in-ground works, service infrastructure, and authority compliance. Throughout the design period, we have remained flexible and have afforded our clients the ability to adjust the design to suit the ever-evolving technological and market influences.
Integrated Management System
We are fully certified to ISO 9001 – Quality Management, ISO 14001 – Environmental Management and ISO 45001 – Safety Management.
We have integrated these into a single system that is externally audited on an annual basis. We have held that certification for many years now.
One of our four core values, and the most important, is Safety. We are accredited by the Office of the Federal Safety Commissioner (OFSC), which has a far higher level of compliance than ISO 45001. However, it is only required for federally funded projects. We, however, implement this higher level of safety compliance on all of our projects, indicating our full commitment to safety and our belief that there is no greater priority than safety.
On all of our projects, we undertake a detailed WHS risk analysis and implementation of the Project Management Plan (PMP), which includes the WHS plan.
As part of the PMP, we also detail our quality requirements for the project and itemize the inspection and test plans necessary to manage all quality aspects of the critical trades and works.
Programming & Construction Methodology
Our project manager is responsible for developing the construction methodology and programme for the project, which includes the design and procurement programme and all decision-making points and milestones. We generally undertake our construction programming on Primavera software, but if necessary, for our Client’s ease of use, we convert this to MS Projects.
