Infinity Constructions is pleased to announce that Infin8 Care Knoxfield has been named a finalist in the Development of the Year – Retirement, Aged Care and Seniors Living category at the 2026 Urban Developer Industry Excellence Awards.

Recently completed in Knoxfield, approximately 33 kilometres southeast of Melbourne’s CBD, the development occupies a 12,700-square-metre site and delivers a 176-bed residential aged care facility across five levels. The project also includes a separate five-storey respite building providing 15 independent living apartments, supporting a flexible and contemporary approach to senior living.
Delivered for Infin8 Care in partnership with Australian Unity, the project responds to the increasing demand for high-quality aged care environments that prioritise both clinical functionality and resident wellbeing. The design and construction approach reflects a shift within the sector towards more refined, community-focused developments that support independence while maintaining operational efficiency.
Infinity Constructions worked closely with Crosier Scott Architects and Connect PM throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring alignment between design intent, construction delivery and end-user requirements. This collaborative approach enabled the integration of complex building services, compliance requirements and operational considerations within a cohesive built outcome.
The Knoxfield facility has been designed to provide a high standard of comfort and accessibility for residents, while also supporting the practical needs of staff and care providers. Careful attention was given to spatial planning, material selection and building performance to ensure the development delivers long-term value for both operators and occupants.
