Infinity Constructions has been appointed Head Contractor for Scape Eveleigh, a new purpose-built student accommodation development in Redfern, Sydney.
Located on the corner of Cleveland Street, Eveleigh, and Woodburn Street, Redfern, the $63.5 million project will deliver 200 high-quality student accommodation rooms supported by extensive communal, commercial and community facilities.
The Design and Construct project is being delivered for repeat client Scape Australia, with Newbridge acting as Project Manager and Mark Shapiro Architects leading the architectural design.
Demolition commenced in August 2026. Completion is planned for mid-2028.
Scape Eveleigh comprises five above-ground storeys constructed over a basement level, creating a six-level purpose-built student accommodation development.
The building adopts a quadrangle design organised around an open central courtyard. This arrangement will provide residents with natural light, landscaped outdoor areas and a stronger connection between the accommodation and shared spaces.
A publicly accessible through-site link will improve pedestrian movement through the site. Extensive landscaping and public domain works will also strengthen the project’s connection with the surrounding Redfern and Eveleigh community.
